2015 Wodapalooza Online Challenge WOD #1

  • 3 rep max Snatches

Perform 3 rep max snatches in 3 position snatch in a 3-minute clock. The first snatch should be done from the ground. The second snatch should be done from a hang position below the knee. The last snatch should be done from the hang position above the knee. The tiebreaker is maximum overhead squats.

The Wodapalooza Online Qualifier workout #1 - a 3 rep max snatch - was the first of six total workouts for the 2015 Wodapalooza Fitness Festival in Miami, FL.

The organizers describe the event as a way to “unite the community and provide an opportunity for us to test our fitness on a worldwide stage and to earn a spot to compete at the 2015 Wodapalooza Fitness Festival.” Standards shown here are for the Rx division (there are also Elite, Intermediate, Scaled and other divisions in the competition).

2015 was the Wodapalooza competition’s third year, growing from a local event in 2012 to attracting “over 25,000 spectators & nearly 1,500 athletes, representing 30 countries.” Their online challenge is the first step in qualifying for the Wodapalooza fitness festival.
