Training Think Tank Throwdown WOD
- With a Running Clock in 14 minutes
- From 0:00-7:00, 12-9-6-3 reps of:
- Dumbbell Devil Presses (2x50/35 lb)
- Burpee Box Jump Overs (24/10 in)
- From 7:00-14:00, establish:
- 1 rep max Hang Squat Clean
This workout has 2 parts. From 0:00-7:00, as fast as possible perform 12 Dumbbell Devil Presses and 12 Burpee Box Jump Overs, 9 Dumbbell Devil Presses and 9 Burpee Box Jump Overs, down to 6 and 3 reps of each movement. Then from 7:00-14:00, establish a 1 rep max Hang Squat Clean.
There will be two scores for this workout. Score A is the time on the clock when the triplet is completed. Score B is the heaviest load successfully lifted for the 1 rep max Hang Squat Clean.
Dumbbell Devil Press: Chest must touch ground in between the Dumbbells at the bottom of each rep. You must reach full extension at the top of each rep with arms, hips, and knees fully locked out.
Burpee Box Jump Over: Chest and thighs must touch the ground and a two-foot take-off must be performed. You may step off the box.
Hang Squat Clean: Hip crease must pass below the knee at the bottom of each rep. Full extension must be met at the top of each rep with the Bar on your shoulders. You may perform any Hang Clean variation so long as you start the rep in a fully extended position before initiating your hang.
