- For Time
- 3 Rounds of:
- 15 Deadlifts (225/165 lb)
- 15 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups
- Then, 3 Rounds of:
- 6 Clean-and-Jerks (225/165 lb)
- 6 Muscle-Ups
- Time Cap: 15 minutes
Deadlift/Clean-and-Jerk – adjust loading
Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups – Chin over, strict pull-ups, ring rows, assisted strict pull-ups
Muscle-Ups – Seated bands x2, ring pull-ups + push-ups, ring pull-ups + ring dips, negatives
The Throwdown Series started in May, 2019 as a weekly workout posted online by TTT, along with a video demonstration and in-depth discussion on strategy, tips, and techniques.
Each workout in the series is numbered sequentially (tttTD1, tttTD2, tttTD3...)
Their tttTD1 video featured a demo by 5-time CrossFit Games Competitor Travis Mayer and Ayle DeRoma.
