  • For Time
  • 800 meter Row
  • 66 Kettlebell Shoulder-to-Overheads (2x16/12 kg)
  • 132 foot Handstand Walk
  • Time Cap: 10 minutes

During the row, judges will raise their hands when athletes have 100 meters remaining on the row. For shoulder-to-overheads, kettlebells must be brought below the chin each rep. Athletes advance after every set of 22 reps.

Handstand walk must be completed in 44-ft. sections. Athletes must restart from the last section completed if they come down at any time.

Background: The "Second Cut" was the 2nd of 12 workouts of the 2019 CrossFit Games. Mathew Fraser took first place individual male with a score of 5:37. Danielle Brandon took first place individual female with a score of 6:16.

The event was held on day 1 - Thursday, August 1st. Only the top 50 athletes advanced to the next event.

The 2019 CrossFit games was held in Madison, Wisconsin, from August 1 - 4. This is the second time the Games have been hosted in Madison, (the first being the 2017 Games).
